Cultural Exchange
Building relationships across borders is an essential aspect of our school life which we fulfill by student exchange programmes. Share and Care is the main motive behind these programmes. Students of our school go to visit countries across the world like Sweden, Denmark, Malaysia, Italy etc. We go and stay with the people living there. The host families take care of us and share not only their homes but also the heritage, music, folklore etc of their country. We reciprocate with the same enthusiasm and care when they come to India. We take them on tours around Delhi and show them all the famous landmarks. This way we share our heritage, culture, tradition with them.
Recently, an Italian delegation came to our school and we took them around Delhi to show them the most famous and oldest minarets, temples etc. Similarly, a year ago students of our school went to Sweden where they experienced their culture and their delegation came to India and enjoyed our hospitality. We interact and work with students from different countries via projects on virtual platforms like GVC and AEC (Asia- Europe classroom) and learn to Create, Collaborate, Communicate and Care collectively. Through these projects we share music, tradition, culture, heritage, folklore, religion, and lifestyle with people across the world. These platforms are indeed the best way to promote Share and Care and they keep this spirit alive!!
